What is CBD?

CBD is the abbreviation for ‘cannabidiol’ and is found in cannabis plants. There are 113 currently known cannabinoids, each playing a role in the endocannabinoid system . Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and cannabinol (CBN) are two other well-known types. CBD is a major compound that is found in all hemp & cannabis plants and supports health & wellness.

How Does CBD Work?

The endocannabinoid system is a complex biological system in the human body. The endocannabinoid system has three components: receptors, enzymes, and endocannabinoids. CBD interacts with the endocannabinoid system which plays a very important role in regulating our physiological functions, many of which relate to stress-recovery systems. Among other functions the endocannabinoid system is involved in modulating the immune and inflammatory responses and regulates appetite, anxiety, sleep, mood control, reproduction & fertility, pleasure & reward, pain, memory and temperature regulation. It also influences the cardiovascular and respiratory systems by controlling heart rate, blood pressure, and bronchial functions.

What is Full Spectrum CBD?

Full Spectrum CBD Oils contain the full plant material and can work better than CBD Isolate. This phenomenon is known as the entourage effect. Research has shown that the full array of cannabinoids working together are more effective than cannabinoids working in isolation. In addition to a full inclusion of cannabinoids, Full Spectrum CBD Oil contains an assortment of other beneficial plant-based ingredients.
